Everything pointed towards Mundaka, a legendary left-hand wave that sometimes shows its face in a Basque river mouth. When the elements align, it produces Europe’s best and longest barrels. Amped about their upcoming surf trip, two Dutch friends, Alrik and Alwin, see a massive storm system develop in the Atlantic Ocean. A six-meter swell is predicted to march into the Bay of Biscay and the Basque coast is forecasted with auspicious surfing conditions. Alwin and Alrik pack their boards and cameras in a Vantrack campervan, to surf and film the local chargers such as Guillermo Amezaga, Iñigo Amezaga, Eneko Estabanez, and others.
